Sunnah-grounded
The four rites of an Islamic funeral
Honoring the deceased is an obligation upon the living. These are the four pillars as preserved in the Prophetic Sunnah ﷺ — we perform every one of them with dignity and care.
Ghusl — ritual washing
الغسلThe body is washed three, five, or seven times with clean water, starting from the right side and the limbs of wudu, following the Prophet ﷺ’s instruction in the hadith of Umm Atiyyah: "Wash her three or five times." We use a women’s team for women and a men’s team for men, in full privacy.
Kafan — shrouding
التكفينA man is shrouded in three white cotton sheets and a woman in five, in clean cloth without prohibited fragrance. Following the Prophet ﷺ’s words: "When one of you shrouds his brother, let him do it well." The shroud is included in the service, selected with care.
Janazah — funeral prayer
صلاة الجنازةA communal obligation (fard kifayah) upon the Muslims. Performed with four takbirs: al-Fatihah, then peace upon the Prophet ﷺ, then supplication for the deceased, then tasleem. We coordinate with the nearest or chosen mosque and ensure as many attend as possible.
Dafn — burial
الدفنHastening burial is from the Sunnah — the Prophet ﷺ said: "Hasten the funeral." The body is laid in the grave on its right side facing the qiblah, in a lahd if possible, then earth is poured. We handle permits, transport, and full cemetery coordination.
All of the above is included in Rawda’s service — without complication, without waiting — preserving the dignity of the deceased and the comfort of the family.
In the hardest moments
What to do in the first hours
A short, practical guide for the bereaved family. Take your time, return your trust to Allah, then follow the steps in order. We are with you every step of the way.
Recite the istirja
"Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji‘un" — to Allah we belong and to Him we return. These words steady the heart. Take a few minutes of calm before any arrangements.
Call us immediately
Reach Rawda on WhatsApp or the hotline. A coordinator answers within minutes and begins arrangements at once — team, transport, paperwork. You do not have to organize anything yourselves.
The earlier you call, the faster we can prepare before the next Fajr or Dhuhr prayer.
Gather a few simple documents
The deceased’s national ID and the death certificate from the doctor or hospital. Do not worry about the rest — burial permits and civil-registry filing are handled by us on your behalf.
Notify family and loved ones
Hastening to inform relatives is from the Sunnah, so those who loved the deceased can attend the janazah prayer. Use the family WhatsApp group or direct calls — whichever is easiest.
Prepare a quiet space for ghusl
A clean, quiet place at home or at the mosque, with running water if possible. Our team brings everything needed — the shroud, sidr, camphor, cloth — but a calm space helps.
Confirm prayer and burial timing
Your Rawda coordinator arranges janazah prayer at the nearest mosque and burial at the cemetery. Inform attendees at least two hours before the chosen prayer time.
We do not leave you alone. A Rawda coordinator stays with the family from the moment you call until peace of mind is restored after burial — on WhatsApp and on the phone.

Frequently asked questions
How do I begin service after a death?
Call us directly on WhatsApp or the hotline, or file the case from the website. A coordinator reaches out within minutes and starts arrangements at once — team, transport, paperwork. You do not have to organize anything yourself.
Is the service available at all times?
Yes. Our team operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without exception — including Friday nights and holidays. Hastening burial is from the Sunnah, so we never make families wait.
Do you handle official permits?
Yes. We obtain the burial permit, register the death with the civil registry, and manage every piece of paperwork with the relevant authorities on the family’s behalf. You only need the deceased’s national ID and the doctor’s death certificate.
What does the service cost?
We have three packages with clear prices on the home page — no hidden fees. Payment is accepted after the service is complete. Families facing financial hardship should contact us — we do not delay a janazah for monetary reasons.
Are the washing teams gender-segregated?
Yes, absolutely. We have two separate ghusl teams: women perform ghusl on women, and men perform ghusl on men — preserving the dignity of the deceased and the rulings of the Shariah.
How long does the service take from call to burial?
It depends on when you call and which prayer time is chosen. Our median response is under 30 minutes; ghusl and shrouding take one to two hours, then the janazah prayer and burial — all usually before the next prayer time.
What if the death occurred at the hospital or away from home?
No difference. We dispatch an equipped vehicle to transport the deceased from the hospital or wherever they are to the place of ghusl (home or mosque), then to the cemetery. Transport is included in the service.
Do you coordinate with the mosque for the janazah prayer?
Yes. We contact the nearest mosque or the one chosen by the family, inform the imam of the timing, and help notify attendees. The janazah is a communal obligation, so we work to ensure adequate attendance.
What exactly do the packages include?
Each package lists the services included by name: ghusl, shrouding, janazah prayer, transport, burial. Everything you need is in the package — including the shroud itself and the materials used in washing (sidr, camphor, cloth).
Can I request service without creating an account?
Yes. The "Request a service" form on the home page is open to families without registration. We collect only the essentials and call you directly.
